The nose is fruity and reveals some enveloping character, a certain freshness, a fine richness. There are notes of ripe lemon, ripe grapefruit and, more slightly, crushed peach combined with fine touches of pulpy/ripe kumquat and a discreet hint of saltiness and lychee. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality and fluidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidic lemon, plump vine peach and slightly crunchy nectarine combined with hints of plump berries, lychee as well as fine points of salinity, a hint of barrel sweetness and a subtle hint of gunflint.
