The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers power (in delicacy), a certain concentration. There are notes of quenette, crystallised vine peach and, more slightly, verbena combined with touches of crystallised quince, kumquat, dried apricot, a subtle hint of roasted pineapple, a discreet hint of exotic candied yellow fruit, fine hints of nutmeg, vanilla and a subtle hint of white flowers. The palate is elegant, beautiful and reveals linearity, a nice delicacy, roundness, aromatic purity, concentration, a discreet but excellent bitterness in the background, depth, a nice stretched/almost airy side in its approach. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied pear, candied kumquat and, more lightly, crystallised quince combined with touches of vine peach in syrup as well as hints of verbena, white flowers, a subtle touch of acacia flowers, vanilla and toastiness. An attractive, smooth and gourmet finish.
