The nose shows some gourmandize, minerality and fine grain. There are notes of fleshy strawberry, small fleshy red fruits and more slightly fresh blackcurrant combined with delicate hints of violets, spices, a discreet hint of nutmeg and a delicate touch of fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity and shows freshness, juiciness, acidity, acidity, a little tension, roundness and good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and more lightly lily, lilac combined with hints of pulpy blackcurrant as well as a hint of violet plum, light tobacco and a subtle touch of vanilla. The tannins are fine and mellow. Good length.
