The wine shows a vivid, shiny straw colour. The nose is a bit muted, with aeration revealing notes of white and yellow apple, lemon zest, a touch of dried herbs, a hint of umami and smoke. The palate is zesty, energetic, grippy and concentrated. It reveals nuances of lemon, grapefruit pith, pomelo, a touch of ripe yellow pear, quince, pronounced salinity and delicate spiciness. The finish is tight, dense, zappy, with a lot of character and power. Pure minerality.
