The nose offers a certain power, a stretched side. There are notes of crunchy red berries, peony/violet and more slightly crunchy raspberry combined with a fine touch of crunchy blackberry, racy minerality, a discreet hint of nutmeg and a subtle touch of cinnamon. The palate is fresh, mineral and shows tension, a certain juiciness, crispness, and a markedly floral character. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crisp raspberry and more slightly iris, lily combined with touches of blackcurrant buds as well as racy minerality, fresh rose, fine pepper, liquorice and a subtle hint of chocolate on the finish.
