The nose is fruity and offers fine concentration, power and intensity in in balance and a spicy edge. There are notes of wild blackberry, Madagascar pepper small notes of racy spices combined with hints of violets, black berries, red berries and fine hints of fresh local grove. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, suavity, a nice acidic backbone, harmony and some fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy blackberry, cherry and more slightly violet combined with hints of local flowers, wild red berries, hints of spice, fresh cloves as well as a subtle hint of olive and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are supple and sapid. Nice acidity and sapidity on the finish/persistence. An imperceptible hint of toasted hazelnut on the finish.
