The nose is fresh, racy and shows some soft power as well as a fine and powerful grain. There are notes of violets, wild dark berries and more lightly red berries combined with hints of red plum, racy minerality/salt gravel and discreet hints of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh and offers gourmandize, some tension, good definition as well as a very nice acidity of the fruit and brightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/acidic blackberry, lily and more lightly crunchy/acidic red berry fruit combined with hints of saline minerality, bright cherry and hints of fresh violet as well as vanilla and liquorice/colas. Good length.
