The nose offers liquorice, chocolate small notes of bright red fruit with hints of Bourbon vanilla, toast, Bigarreau cherry and a touch of crushed strawberry and sweet oak. The palate is mineral, tightly wound, revealing juiciness, minerality, tension, freshness and a little linearity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, violet and, more slightly, plum, combined with hints of mocha, toast and fine Bourbon vanilla and a very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut (in the background). A fine powdery/bitter cocoa finish.
