The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain purity of fruit, good definition and fine concentration. There are notes of plump Bigarreau cherry, fleshy Quetsche plum with hints of blackcurrant liqueur, a hint of balsamic and a fine touch of wild red berries, liquorice/zan and a subtle hint of local grove. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, a nice mineral spine, a nice acidity of the fruit, a nice sapidity, gourmandize and some crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tart cherry, crisp raspberry small notes of tart/fresh plum combined with hints of fresh flowers, a subtle hint of olive and a hint of positive bitterness, liquorice stick and a very discreet almost cocoa-like quality. Good length.
