La Bienfaisance du Château Sanctus 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals a certain power and intensity of fruit. There are notes of juicy/pulpy bigarreau cherry, strawberry and more lightly bright red berries combined with fine hints of pepper, lilac, a discreet touch of graphite and salinity. The palate is fresh, juicy and offers minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, an acidic backbone, some tension, accuracy, a fine racy concentration. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, blackberry and slightly violet notes combined with hints of lily as well as fine cherry blossom, graphite, pepper and a subtle hint of saltiness. The tannins are precise and elegant.
