The nose is a little tight and restrained. There are notes of violet plum and more slightly ripe berry fruits combined with fine touches of violet, a discreet hint of pepper, spices as well as a subtle touch of black olive and a very discreet hint of toast (in the background). The palate is mineral and reveals fruit, tension, a little concentration, accuracy and a little stretch. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy violet plum and small notes of violet, combined with hints of blackcurrant, blond tobacco and fine points of nutmeg. Good length. Tannins are straightforward and mellow.
