The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain pulpiness/crunchiness of fruit and some depth. There are notes of Morello cherry, ripe blueberry and more slightly ripe blackberry combined with hints of very ripe red berries as well as hints of rosemary, sense of place and a very discreet hint of liquorice. The palate is racy (Syrah) and reveals juiciness, a certain delicacy, minerality, precision, linearity and a nice acidic structure. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed redcurrant and slightly juicy/acidic Morello cherry notes combined with delicate touches of racy minerality, lily, fine hints of local biotop (sense of place) as well as a discreet touch of black olive and chocolate. Tannins are well conducted and racy. Good length. Nice persistence.
