The nose is fruity and reveals a certain controlled power, some concentration and a racy, discreetly tight grain. There are notes of violet, peony and clove combined with hints of violet plum, blue berries, crushed cherry and hints of local grove. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, a certain volume, suavity, juiciness, accuracy, a little tension, finesse and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet/peony small notes of local earth/sense of place combined with hints of wild violet plum as well as fine points of tobacco, clove, fine notes of pepper and a discreet hint of olive tree. Tannins are precise and linear.
