The nose is fruity, racy and reveals fine concentration and definition. There are notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly blackcurrant combined with fine touches of Cuben pepper, blue berries, zan and a discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and reveals good definition, juiciness, acidity, energy, nice fresh fruit definition, a little crunch and complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, cherry and more lightly juicy/fresh blackcurrant combined with fine hints of violet, fresh lily, discreet hints of Cuben pepper, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of zan and a very discreet hint of toastiness. Good length. Nice spicy and acidic persistence. The tannins are elegant and supple.
