Baglio del Cristo di Campobello – C’D’C Rosso 2020 – Terre Siciliane IGP

The nose is spicy and offers some restraint, tightness, good definition, a certain purity and a fine complexity. There are notes of fresh cherry, plum and peony with a touch of pepper and a discreet hint of musk. The palate is fruity, balanced, discreetly tight and reveals freshness, elegance, nice definition, purity, tension as well as a little airiness and stretch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry/crunchy cherry, violet small notes of cherry blossom combined with hints of fresh wild berries, fine hints of lily/peony, mocha and a subtle hint of vanilla and toastiness. Tannins are precise and racy. A touch of cocoa bitterness on the finish/persistence.
