The nose is spicy. There are notes of clove, tobacco and, more slightly, nutmeg, combined with hints of red berries, a hint of fresh fig and hints of pulpy/fresh blackberry. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, freshness, good definition, acidity and roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, crushed redcurrant and more lightly violet combined with small touches of blue berries and fine varietal hints. Good length. A discreet hint of liquorice stick, a very fine hint of fresh tobacco (in the background) and varietal flavours.
