The nose is fruity and fresh, offering some crispness and a floral edge. There are notes of ripe/creamy raspberry, crunchy red currant and, more slightly, pulpy blackcurrant, combined with hints of lily, fine hints of fresh flowers and a discreet hint of sweet spice. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and reveals a nice acidic backbone, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a certain power in finesse, a certain purity of fruit, racy minerality and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp raspberry, crisp/acidic red berries and more lightly juicy blackcurrant combined with a touch of fresh flowers, almost a discreet hint of fresh purple plum, fine zaniness, a subtle hint of serenity and a very discreet touch of camphor and pepper. Nice freshness and fullness in the mouth, elegance.
