The nose is fresh, elegant, fruity and reveals a certain intensity, finesse and depth of freshness. There are notes of fresh cherry/crunchy cherry, fresh blackberry and more lightly fresh/pulpy berries combined with fine touches of fresh tobacco, nutmeg, fine hints of fresh flowers, iris and a subtle hint of fresh spice and liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a nice fresh character, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, a nice accuracy, some airiness in its balance, precision as well as thoroughness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh strawberry, juicy/fresh red currant and more lightly of violet/iris combined with touches of fresh/acidic blackcurrant, a fine touch of fresh berries, racy minerality as well as fine chalky tips and a discreet hint of toasted/vanilla in the background.
