The nose is elegant, gourmet, racy and harmonious. There are notes of liquorice, crunchy blackcurrant and, more slightly, crunchy cherry, combined with fine hints of juicy strawberry, blueberry and fine nuances of plum blossom, sweet spices and a delicate touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, juiciness, definition, energy, acidity, an airy approach and elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy, fresh cherry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, bright raspberry notes combined with hints of juicy, fresh blackberry, lily, racy minerality, fine hints of star anise and a discreet touch of tonka bean and toasted almond. Good length. Sapid persistence. A hint of good bitterness in the background.
