The nose is fruity, revealing gourmandize, elegance and a certain purity of fruit. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, bright blueberry and, more slightly, crushed red fruit, combined with fine touches of violet, liquorice, lily and a discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, juiciness, a mineral backbone, a little stretch and volume. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and, more slightly, juicy/pulpy berries, combined with touches of racy minerality, a subtle, almost saline touch, and hints of toastiness and vanilla/sweet spice. The tannins are well managed and mellow. Good length. Sapidity and gourmandize at the back/finish/persistence.
