The nose is spicy, discreetly tight and reveals some power. There are notes of blackberry, spices and, to a lesser extent, cloves, combined with hints of star anise and a touch of tobacco. The palate is mineral and shows fruit, juiciness, a fine freshness, roundness, volume and a fine linear quality at the same time. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, blackberry and more lightly racy minerality combined with hints of fresh lily, zan, fine nuances of mocha and cloves in the background. Good length.
