The nose is aromatic and reveals fine power. There are notes of blackberry, toast and, to a lesser extent, cocoa, combined with hints of almond, vanilla and a discreet touch of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and demonstrates minerality, freshness, a mineral backbone, fine tension, juiciness and crunchiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh raspberry, red berries and, more slightly, violets, combined with touches of fresh cherry, as well as hints of rose, nutmeg and fine toasted notes.
