The nose is fruity and reveals brightness, fine intensity and complexity. There are notes of boysenberry, bright raspberry and slightly fresh violet combined with fine lily, racy minerality, a subtle hint of grey pepper and a discreet touch of black tea. The palate is mineral, offering freshness, good definition, energy, acidity, a little roundness and a pulpy quality of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, raspberry and more lightly bright/fresh blue berry fruit combined with a fine touch of cherry and hints of toasted almond. Supple. Its tannic structure reveals some linearity.
