The nose is fresh, racy and offers a certain concentration and power with finesse. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, blackberry and more slightly violet combined with delicate touches of fresh blueberry, small black berries, graphite as well as discreet hints of pepper and a subtle hint of toast. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, good definition, fine complexity, elegance, purity and a nice fresh structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more lightly blueberry/purple, combined with touches of fairly ripe red berries, fresh tobacco, star anise and fine hints of chocolate (in the background). Good length. A subtle hint of lily in the background.
