The nose is elegant, with power and a fine concentration. There are notes of liquorice, blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, fleshy wild strawberry, combined with hints of zan, caramelisation, as well as fine spices and a subtle hint of pepper in the background. The palate is mineral and offers fruit, a mineral structure, good definition, gourmandize, an acidic structure, a fine unctuousness and freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, violet, combined with hints of fresh raspberry, as well as fine nuances of tonka bean, liquorice and a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle touch of cardamom. Good length. The tannins are precise and well conducted. Volume and freshness.
