The nose is fresh, fruity and reveals a certain intensity of freshness and definition. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, black plum and more lightly ripe/juicy bigarreau cherry with hints of raspberry as well as fine toast, tonka bean and a hint of coffee/good bitterness. The palate is elegant, fruity and offers freshness, definition, finesse, elegance, purity and a bright fruitiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of violet, blackcurrant and more lightly fresh/pulpey cherry combined with hints of cardamom, fresh tobacco, fine hints of tart/fresh (even crunchy) berries as well as fine hints of sweet spices and a touch of mocha. The tannins are light and soft. Good work on the bitter taste on the finish. Nice freshness. A discreet tightness on the palate.
