The nose is fresh, elegant, nicely defined, fresh and offers fine richness and complexity. Fleshy peach, pear and slightly crushed quenette notes are combined with hints of pear blossom, discreet hints of sweet white flowers and a hint of pencil lead and toast. The palate is nicely conducted and reveals freshness, tension, a nice acidic backbone, minerality, clarity/crystalline character, nice definition, fullness, some structure, straightness, depth as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy pear, fleshy/juicy white peach and more lightly lychee combined with hints of blackberry, a hint of lemon as well as hints of almost passion fruit, toasted almond and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Salinity in the background. Nice sapidity and gourmandize. A discreet tannic touch at the end of the mouth, as much in the aroma as in the structure. An elegant and meticulous wine.
