The nose reveals concentration, a fine power and infusion character. There are notes of crushed wild blackcurrant, Bigarreau cherry and, more lightly, jammy red currants combined with fine hints of star anise and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a certain tension, a fine fluidity as well as an infusion aspect on the palate. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crushed blackcurrant and more lightly blackberry combined with hints of violet, lily, black tea and a hint of liquorice. Tension on the finish and a discreet salinity.
