The nose is fresh, with a hint of spice/smoothness and lovely ripe, fresh fruit. There are notes of fresh cherry/pulp, fleshy red plum/pulp and more lightly crushed purple plum combined with fine touches of crushed red berries and a discreet hint of liquorice/badian. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-defined, precise, aromatically pure, crystalline and finely straightforward. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh red plum, bigarreau cherry and more lightly fresh red berry notes as well as fine hints of liquorice, chocolate and a subtle hint of fleshy plum Quetsche, a fine chewiness on the finish/persistence. Good length. The tannins are precise and smooth.
