The nose is fruity, elegant and offers concentration, a very fine intensity and tightness. There are notes of blackcurrant, violet and, to a lesser extent, small ripe black fruits, combined with hints of zan, vanilla and a touch of chocolate. The palate is fruity, racy, mineral, balanced and offers juiciness, good definition, gourmandize, a nice finesse in its definition, the Cabernet takes its place. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, violet and, more slightly, violet plum, combined with hints of crushed/juicy red berries, as well as hints of almond, star anise and a discreet touch of vanilla. Good length.
