The nose offers notes of toast, tonka bean and slightly crushed strawberry combined with hints of pulpy blackberry, vanilla, fine hints of zan and a subtle touch of colas and bergamot. The palate is fresh, balanced and offers minerality and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy cherry and more lightly violet plum combined with hints of blueberry, violet, zan, camphor as well as subtle hints of almond toasted hazelnut and fresh blonde tobacco. Good length. Freshness. To be tasted again to see the management/integration of the wood.
