The nose is racy, fresh and reveals some minerality, a discreetly tight grain and elegance. There are notes of fresh blackberry, fresh violet and more lightly fresh lily combined with delicate touches of racy minerality, blackcurrant and a subtle hint of pepper and fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, flesh, tension, minerality, acidity, elegance, fine freshness and crispness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crisp cherry, juicy/ripe blackcurrant and more lightly fresh/crisp violet plum combined with hints of violet, tonka bean/mocha as well as hints of toastiness and a subtle vanilla note. Good length. The tannins are precise and structured.
