The nose is fruity and reveals a certain power, a nice finesse of grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, fresh strawberry and, more slightly, violet combined with touches of pulpy blackcurrant as well as fine graphite and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, acidity, good definition, a certain gourmandize and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic red currant, pulpy/acidic raspberry and slightly fresh violet notes combined with hints of tart berries, fresh/pulpy blackcurrant and fine nuances of sweet blond tobacco, caramelisation and a subtle hint of positive bitterness (in the background). Good length.
