The nose is fresh, well managed and reveals fleshy fruit and elegance. There are notes of ripe/fresh blackcurrant, violet and pulpy/concentrated berries combined with hints of chocolate and a touch of fresh sweet spice. The palate is fresh, mineral, tight and reveals a fine linear edge. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more lightly violet combined with hints of pulpy cherry as well as fine vanilla and chocolate, a little flat on the palate. The tannins are supple.
