The nose is fruity, aromatic and reveals some power. There are notes of wild raspberry, wild blackberry and, more slightly, Cuben pepper, nutmeg, with fine hints of sweet spices and a very discreet touch of blond tobacco and balsamic. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant and reveals juiciness, richness, creaminess, good definition and a nice acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy cherry, juicy wild strawberry and slightly blackcurrant, combined with touches of bright red berries, violet/fresh flowers, as well as fine hints of blond tobacco and a subtle hint of spice. The tannins are tight and pronounced.
