The nose is spicy, tightly wound (at the moment?) and reveals some concentration. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, small red berries and more slightly morello cherry combined with delicate notes of wild strawberry, balsamic, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of blond tobacco and an imperceptible touch of verbena (in the background). The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality, juiciness, acidity/minerality, harmony, roundness and a certain purity and brightness of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, pulpy raspberry and, more slightly, violet, combined with touches of blueberry and hints of wild strawberry, sweet spices and a subtle hint of almond. The palate is gourmet and savoury on the finish. The tannins are discreetly tight.
