The nose is spicy, aromatic and reveals a certain freshness. There are notes of clove, blackberry and, to a lesser extent, black pepper, combined with hints of wild strawberry and fine hints of fresh leather. The palate is fruity and shows minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, redcurrant and slightly cherry blossom notes combined with hints of clove, muscat, a fine touch of racy minerality and a discreet hint of varietal flavours.
