The nose is fresh and reveals some crispness and power. There are notes of fresh/crisp blackcurrant, wild currant and slightly fresh lily combined with hints of ripe black fruit as well as fine cuben pepper and a discreet varietal quality. The palate is fruity and balanced, revealing acidity, minerality, good definition and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart/pulpy blackcurrant, tart/pulpy raspberry and more lightly crunchy redcurrant combined with touches of fresh lily, peony and a subtle hint of chocolate (in the background). A lot of energy.
