There are notes of fresh boysenberry, racy minerality and more lightly graphite combined with hints of small red berries, lily, violet as well as fine zan, a very discreet hint of pepper, subtle hints of bright dark berries, morello cherry, bergamot, mocha, bourbon vanilla and toastiness. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality, good definition, acidity/freshness, a nice delicate/cool velvety feel, nice freshness, fine tension/concentration, fine grain and a little stretch. On the palate this wine expresses pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, fresh/crisp blackberry and more lightly floral, lily notes combined with fine touches of fresh raspberry, fresh berries as well as a delicate hint of fresh plum, graphite, racy minerality/margalean gravel, fine hints of bergamot, toastiness, toasted almond/hazelnut and a subtle hint of vanilla. Nice chewiness on the finish/persistence.
