The nose is fruity and reveals fine power. There are notes of blackcurrant, cherry and slightly juicy/fresh violet as well as fine hints of star anise. The palate is fruity and reveals tangy structure, juicy/acidic fruit, certain volume, a discreet content, gourmandize and certain fleshiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet and more lightly fresh/juicy blackcurrant combined with touches of bright red berry, violet, plum blossom and fine hints of liquorice, lily, pepper and fresh sap. Good length. A very discreet hint of mocha on the finish/persistence.
