The nose is racy (nicely marked by its terroir) and reveals a fine, relatively powerful and somewhat tight grain. There are notes of wild strawberry, pulpy wild blackcurrant and more lightly of fresh flowers combined with touches of rose, fresh/sparkling red berries and a subtle hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity and shows juiciness, sweetness, acidity, gourmandize and a tangy/juicy fruitiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart blackcurrant candy, plump raspberry and more lightly juicy/crunchy red berries combined with hints of fresh flowers and fine lilac, racy minerality and a subtle hint of liquorice and black tea. There is sapidity and a fine, tight finish.
