Château Labégorce 2021 – Margaux

Château Labégorce 2021 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and reveals a certain elegance and brightness. There are notes of crushed cherry, bright blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, pulpy raspberry, combined with hints of violet, lily, as well as fine pepper and a discreet hint of salt. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, fleshiness, elegance, good definition, gourmandize, and an acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cherry and, more slightly, blueberry, combined with delicate touches of bright black berries, lily, as well as a hint of Madagascar pepper, bourbon vanilla and a subtle touch of toastiness. Good length and persistence. The tannins are sapid and mellow.
