The nose is complex, rich, generous with nuances of ripe lemons, grapefruits, yellow apples, pears, acacia with hints of gunpowder and smoke. The palate is round, smooth and dense, revealing flavours of orchard and citrus fruits, kumquat, lemon curd, honeysuckle, verbena, savoury notes of dried herbs, some flintiness. The wine shows a lot of complexity supported by the mouth-watering acidity and pleasant bitter note on a long finish.
