The nose is concentrated, powerful and juicy. There are notes of spice, crushed blackcurrant and, more lightly, bright wild raspberry, combined with fine touches of bergamot and a discreet hint of pepper and sweet, toasted spices. The palate is fresh, mineral, discreetly tight and reveals some tension and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh, pulpy blackberry, red berries and more lightly fresh lily combined with a fine hint of rose, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of chocolate and fresh blond tobacco. Good length.
