The nose is fresh, racy and offers some power, intensity and a little stretch. There are notes of raspberry, mulberry leaf and, to a lesser extent, blackberry, combined with hints of fresh lily, blackcurrant buds and fine peppery and vanilla notes. The palate shows some freshness, roundness, a fine stretch, minerality and a certain harmony. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pistil/iris, small crunchy red berries and more slightly blackcurrant buds combined with delicate touches of blackberry as well as fine points of zan, bergamot, chocolate and a subtle hint of nutmeg.
