The nose is elegant, discreetly tight (at the moment) and reveals certain delicacy in its power and fine concentration. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, pulpy/juicy violet plum and, more lightly, fleshy redcurrants combined with a touch of fleshy strawberry, fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg and a subtle hint of cola and pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced, tight and shows freshness, minerality, juiciness/freshness, good definition, gourmandize, tension, precision and substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and, more slightly, pulpy raspberry, combined with hints of lily/flower and hints of liquorice, cherry blossom, chocolate and cardamom. Good length. A very discreet hint of toasted almond (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of coffee.
