The nose is fresh and reveals power and concentration in just the right way. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, fresh/pulpy cherry and more lightly peppery, combined with hints of nutmeg and fine points of fresh vanilla. The palate is mineral, balanced and demonstrates accuracy, acidity, fresh/crisp fruit, precision and finesse in its tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/acidic blackberry, crisp cherry and more slightly acidic/fresh strawberry. On the palate this wine reveals notes of fresh/acidic blackberry, crisp cherry and slightly tart/fresh strawberry combined with hints of lilac, blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorice and delicate nuances of sweet spice/toastiness. Fine hints of chocolate and a nice freshness in the background.
