The nose is spicy, full and offers a little complexity/concentration. There are notes of ripe strawberry, blackcurrant and slightly more violet combined with delicate touches of cherry, almost balsamic, and a fine touch of pepper and clove. The palate is fruity and reveals an acidic structure, juiciness, volume, roundness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses tart/juicy cherry, fresh/acidic raspberry and more lightly violet notes combined with a hint of fresh lilac, racy minerality and fine vanilla/sweet tobacco. Good length.
