The nose is powerful, straight-forward, spicy and opulent. It reveals notes ripe lemons, grapefruits, kumquats with touches of wet stones, oak, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. The palate is rich and concentrated showing complexity, good tension and a slight, pleasant bitterness. The wine is rich and exuberant with a lot of citrus fruits, oriental spices and a zesty, mouth-watering acidity. The finish is long, savoury, smoky and saline. Delicious!
