The nose offers a certain gourmandize, finesse, fine gain, purity. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, blackberry and more lightly bright wild berry fruit combined with delicate hints of lilac, violet and fine mocha tobacco. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, a nice acidic structure, good definition, tension, energy and purity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly acidic/ripe red berry notes with hints of fresh flowers and hints of mocha, toast and toasted almond. A subtle hint of camphor in the background, the palate becomes tighter. Good length. A subtle hint of positive bitterness in the background.
